Hello! My name is Carina Bracy. I am a college student, runner, and foodie currently living in Montana. I started this food blog to share my recipes and experiences and to document my favorite hobby: healthy cooking!
I grew up in Oregon, and was a very picky and wildly unhealthy eater through high school (my main food groups were bagels, pasta, protein bars, and ice cream). However, that all changed when I was diagnosed as gluten free during my senior year after a long series of health issues. That diagnosis forced me to charge my diet, and was a catalyst for positive lifestyle changes which included learning how to cook and starting to run.
Fast forward a few years… I have moved to Montana for college where I am studying aeronautical science and competing in college cross country and track. My career goal is to be an airline pilot, and I am well on my way, already having earned my commercial pilot license. This all takes a lot of hard work, time management, and dedication, which is why I am so passionate about my running and healthy cooking, as these things give me an outlet as well as keeping my body fueled, energized, and ready to tackle my days.
I hope to continue to share more about myself, my running, and my cooking on this blog! Healthy eating and home cooking is something that has taken me years to learn (I’m still learning!) so I hope you can learn from my blog! Check out my instagram @foodz2fuel to see what’s happening in my kitchen, and DM me with any questions!
